Keynote Session
The Story You Don’t Hear About – How Caregivers Changed My Life for the Better
In May of 2013, Cody Byrns stopped at a red light on the highway and was rear-ended by a box-truck causing a fire to break out leading to severe burns on almost 40% of Cody’s body. After months of both physical and spiritual recovery, his journey led him to see the powerful impact that today’s medical professionals have on those they care for.
During this dark point in his life, Cody and his family witnessed first-hand the heart behind the caregivers who led to his shift recovery. This talk will remind caretakers of the difference they are making in the world, and why they have one of the best occupations in the world. Be prepared to have an experience that will motivate you to move out of bondage into a life of freedom!

- Conference education sessions will begin at 1:00 on September 8th and conclude at noon on September 10th.

Associate Business members are invited to attend the 2025 WHCA/IHCA Fall Conference to network with provider members, make connections at the trade show, and demonstrate their commitment to the long-term care community through sponsorship. Please note: registration to attend the Fall Conference for networking is limited to those who purchase any of the following:
- Trade Show Exhibit Tables – $1300 for members, $2600 for nonmembers. Includes 2 registrations to the full Conference.
- AB Membership Packages – starting at $2400. Packages include annual member dues, sponsorships, and an exhibit table for one or both of our trade shows this year. 2 full registrations are included for one or both in-person events.
- Premium Event Sponsorships – starting at $1500. Many Premium Event Sponsorships are exclusive opportunities, and include 2 full registrations for the respective sponsored event.
AB members who qualify will be able to purchase additional individual registrations for $269 each. These registrations include access to networking activities such as the Welcome Reception and Fun Night, as well as included meals.
