REMINDER: BEGINNING JAN 1, 2015, ALL IHCA EVENT REGISTRATION FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL, PRIOR TO ALL EVENTS, TO RECEIVE NAME BADGES AND ENTER SESSIONS! .  IF we have not received payment by the Friday prior to the training, you will be required to provide a credit card for payment.

  • Course Overview

    The Activities Professional is an essential member of the interdisciplinary team charged with enhancing the quality of life for all individuals in their care. This half-day training is for any individual responsible for organizing & conduction activities.

    This workshop is a mandatory portion of the Activity Director Certificate program.  Activity Director students MUST have successfully completed the online portion of the certificate program for attendance at this workshop to count toward their certificate requirements.

    MDS, CAA, & Care Planning for the Activity Director | Robin Hillier, CPA, STNA, LNHA RAC-MT, RLH Consulting
    Everyone is welcome to attend but Activity Director students that successfully completed the online course must attend this session on the MDS – Care Planning for Activity Directors. Robin will walk you through case studies and answer questions.

    Activity Director students will share their “physical-distancing” activity.

    • Your favorite month’s activity calendar.
    • Your resident’s favorite craft.
    • A list of websites or Facebook pages that you find great ideas from!
    • Anything else you want to share as time allows!

    Cancellations & No-Shows

    Cancellations are subject to a $50.00 fee if made more than seven (7) business days prior to the event. There will be no refund or credit granted for “no-shows” and cancelled registration within seven (7) business days of the event. Training dates are subject to change. Additional dates may be added due to demand. Please note — IHCA reserves the right to re-schedule any training that does not meet minimum registration requirements.
