FREE Infection Control and Prevention, Antibiotic Stewardship, and MDRO Technical Assistance and Education
Provided by Idaho’s Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) Program
As part of the Division of Public Health the HAI program seeks to improve the health and safety of Idahoans by providing education and support for infection prevention and control practices.
What can Idaho’s Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) Program do for you?
- Provide technical assistance with infection control and/or antibiotic resistance/stewardship programs
- Conduct a facility assessment regarding infection control and/or antimicrobial stewardship program(s) to identify program strengths and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Provide custom infection control and/or antibiotic resistance education to healthcare personnel and/or patients and families.
- Develop custom resources to support healthcare personnel, i.e., toolkits, surveillance, tracking tools, etc.
