The Idaho Health Care Association is proud to present the Online Course: “Facilitator Guide” for the AHCA (American Health Care Association) publication, Assisted Dining: The Role and Skills of Feeding Assistants.
The manual meets the requirements set forth in the Final Rule 42 CFR, Parts 483 and 488 as revised and published 11-22-17, effective 11-28-2017.
The manual has been reviewed and approved as an acceptable curriculum for the training of Paid Feeding Assistants in the State of Idaho.
PLEASE NOTE before registering for this course:
To take this course and qualify to be a trainer for the Assisted Dining curriculum you must be: RN, LPN with RN Supervision, Registered Dietitian, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Physical Therapist.
Upon successful completion (80% or better) of the “Course Quiz” & proof of licensure, participants will receive a certificate from IHCA and be qualified to teach the Assisted Dining: The Role and Skills of Feeding Assistants course.
