Building & Sustaining a Functional Wound Program in LTC

Attend this basic to intermediate program to update your wound prevention and management knowledge and skills. This seminar will discuss pressure injury risk factors, prevention strategies, and other hard-to-heal wound etiologies such as arterial and venous insufficiency, diabetic foot ulcers, and more. Content includes Best Practice and regulatory guidelines for the wound assessment and documentation and reporting mandates from CMS in addition to a session on infection control in wound care. This program is appropriate for new and seasoned nurses, facility or corporate management leadership, MDS Coordinators, PT/OT, providers, and others involved in wound prevention and management in the Post-Acute LTC setting.
