    Supervising the care of persons living with dementia can be a challenging responsibility. Many citations in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities are related to inadequate care, behavioral problems and negative outcomes involving residents with dementia. Improved education in dementia care is one of the most important ways administrators and their staff members can more safely and effectively meet the complex needs of residents with dementia.
